Public maintenance record

Data Status and Method Scope

This page records what the calculator currently knows, where the underlying data comes from, which values are derived by this site, and where the results should be treated as planning estimates rather than complete game simulation.

Data and code sources

The calculation engine and base factory dataset were adapted from JamboChen/endfield-calc, an MIT-licensed open-source project. The upstream copyright and license are preserved in this repository's third-party notice.

This website adds its own Next.js presentation, searchable recipe reference, editorial guides, worked examples, maintenance record, SEO structure, and site-specific navigation around that foundation. Calculated rates shown in the database are derived from the upstream recipe values using the formulas documented in the planning guides.

Source records

Items, recipes, facilities, translations, and icons.

Derived results

Per-minute rates, facility utilization, dependency totals, and power estimates.

Update process

Manual review and sync after relevant upstream data changes.

Known boundaries

These limits are documented so a precise-looking number is not mistaken for more certainty than the data supports.

  • 01The calculator estimates production rates, facility utilization, and power. It is not a spatial base-layout simulator and does not place belts, pipes, or buildings on a map.
  • 02A decimal facility count represents utilization. Continuous physical layouts normally need the value rounded up, while intermittent plans may share spare capacity.
  • 03Recipe selection uses the available dataset and can be overridden. The default route is a planning aid, not a claim that one route is universally optimal.
  • 04Game values and community-maintained translations can change. Re-check a critical plan after a data refresh or game update.
  • 05The tool does not read a game account or live inventory. Manual raw-material choices are scenario assumptions made in the browser.

Update history

Reference and editorial expansion

Added the searchable recipe database, worked power and route-comparison guides, explicit source attribution, and this public data-status page.

Upstream data refresh
